Overview

PULSe 4K Rev. II. Combo (version: 1x DVB-S2X tuner + 1x DVB-T2/C tuner) is a receiver with UHD resolution and ENIGMA 2 operating system. A beautiful image in 4K resolution is a matter of course, as well as HDR/HDR10 and HLG image standards. A quad-core processor with 15,000 DMIPS, 8GB FLASH memory and 2GB DDR4 RAM will take care of performance and quick reactions. The receiver includes a built-in DVB-S2X tuner and a second Plug & Play DVB-C/T2 terrestrial/cable tuner, which you can exchange for a DVB-S2X satellite tuner at any time.

The elegant design of the receiver will fit into any living room. There is a 7-segment LED display on the front panel. Behind the door you will find 1x card reader, 2x slot for CI module, 1x USB 2.0 and 1x slot for microSD card, which you can use as internal storage for your recordings. On the back panel there is a built-in DVB-S2X satellite tuner and a second Plug & Play DVB-C/T2 terrestrial/cable tuner. In addition to using a microSD card as internal storage, you can easily insert a 2.5" HDD into the receiver via the drawer system. From the connector equipment on the back panel, you will find S/PDIF optical digital audio output, USB 2.0, Ethernet RJ45, IR extender for IR eye connection (IR eye not included / can be purchased as an optional accessory), a switch and an input for an external DC 12V-3A source.

PULSe 4K will provide you with a beautiful image in UHD quality with the popular Enigma 2 operating system, which you also know from other receivers in the HIGH-END class.

Use the options that this operating system offers you with plugins for a better TV viewing experience. Adjust the environment of the device to suit your preferences and watching TV will take on a new dimension.

The big advantage of this receiver is the simultaneous decoding of two CI modules, or the decoding of two programs from the CI module in real time, which everyone will appreciate when watching a live broadcast and recording another program at the same time. One PULSe 4K device can of course ensure the distribution of content for your television. In addition, however, you can watch other TV broadcasts in real time on your other two mobile devices and one computer.

In addition to storing your recordings on an external HDD, you can also choose a more elegant solution, which is microSD card . The MicroSD card fully replaces the functions of an external HDD and, most importantly, eliminates the unwanted sounds of standard external HDDs.

Calculating the capacity utilization of microSD cards:

- on 32GB microSD card can store approx. 13 hours recordings*

- on 64GB microSD card can store approx. 25 hours recordings*

- on 128GB microSD card can store approx. 50 hours recordings*

*The data is approximate depending on the bitrate of the program you recorded from, as each program has a different bitrate.

Remote control

The AB PULSE 4K Rev. II package includes a new programmable control.

With this control, you can turn on your TV and control the volume on your TV in addition to the receiver. Intuitive button layout in an ergonomic slim design and with a matte finish to eliminate fingerprints. Segmentation of button groups. Colored buttons are positioned near the OK button and directional buttons. More optimal distribution of buttons for orientation around the mass.

You can also control the AB PULSE 4K Rev. II receiver via your mobile phone. You can also use your mobile phone or tablet as a remote control. On your phone, you can see what is currently being broadcast on TV and set remotely what your PULSe should do. Need to record a movie or your favourite TV show? With your mobile phone, it's just a few clicks away. Your AB PULSE 4K Rev. II will store all your recordings and you can watch them anytime you need to via your mobile or tablet. If you have a recognised TV but need to move somewhere else, there's nothing easier than moving your TV broadcasts to your mobile device.

For Apple devices Abcom recommend the app e2Remote Lite.

The receiver can also connect external USB WiFi antenna , which will provide you with wireless internet access.
